THE CHAD READ SHOOTING IS TEXTBOOK SELF DEFENSE.

(AND IF IT WAS A SETUP, THE DECEDENT CHECKED ALL THE BOXES TO GET SHOT)

The facts : On November 5th 2021 William “Kyle” Carruth fired two shots from a rifle into the chest of a man named Chad Read, killing him.

Here’s a video showing both camera angles of the shooting (not graphic)

Read was on Carruth’s property & as the Homeowner Carruth asked Read to leave & Read refused.

Carruth went & got a rifle & under threat of DEADLY FORCE demanded Read leave.

Read escalated in turn & both men ended up chest to chest in a shouting match.

“YOU BETTER FUCKIN’ USE IT MOTHERFUCKER, BECAUSE GODDAMMIT I’LL FUCKING TAKE IT FROM YOU & USE IT ON YOU!!”

Understand, in a Texas court of law, that threat by Read just sunk any successful prosecution of this case.

Breakdown = “You better fuckin’ USE (shoot) it (the gun) Motherfucker, because Goddammit I’ll fucking take it (the gun) from you (THE PROPERTY OWNER) & USE (shoot) it on you!”

Read makes 2 attempts to disarm Carruth. One half-assed & one serious.

The half-assed attempt caused Carruth to deliver a completely uneccessary & useless warning shot at Read’s feet.

The SERIOUS attempt to disarm Carruth (& by inference of the threat, SHOOT CARRUTH) failed & it’s why Carruth shot Read dead.

On Rekieta Law & watched Joe Lawgic opine that the killing was unjustified as the Homeowner being SLUNG off his own porch created “distance” between Read & Carruth & therefore there was no REASON to shoot Read at that moment as he was “just standing there” helpless & unarmed.

I cannot disagree more.

That was where Joe outed himself as clueless on self defense cases.

He makes the act of Read “slinging” Carruth off of his own porch sound like a Square Dance was underway or something (HEY NOW SWING YOUR PARTNER!!) when I see it as Read attempting to disarm & murder Carruth with his own gun.

On his own property.

“HEY! JOE! What did Read have his HAND ON when he dosey-doed Carruth off the porch?”

HIS RIFLE. HE WAS TRYING TO TAKE HIS RIFLE.

If Carruth has a halfway competent Attorney representing him he walks because this shooting is cut and dried.

I’ll break down the video in TEXAS-ESE.

Question #1 WHOSE PROPERTY WAS IT? Answer = CARRUTH’S

Question #2 DID THE PROPERTY OWNER TELL THE DECEDENT HE WASN’T WELCOME & TO LEAVE? Answer = YES.

Question #3 WHEN THE PROPERTY OWNER SHOWED THE TRESPASSER THE RIFLE, SHOULD THE TRESPASSER HAVE LEFT, NO QUESTIONS ASKED? Answer = YES.

Question #4 DID THE TRESPASSER THREATEN GREAT BODILY HARM TO THE PROPERTY OWNER? Answer = YES.

Question #5 DID THE TRESPASSER TRY TO DISARM THE LEGALLY ARMED PROPERTY OWNER? Answer = YES. TWICE.

BOOM.

Justifiable Homicide.

It’s all in how you FRAME the questions.

Notice I keep emphasizing who’s PROPERTY it was.

There’s a reason I do that.

Because that’s how Read went from uninvited, to trespasser to VIOLENT THREAT to a corpse.

No competent Defense Attorney could lose this case & no Texas Jury would convict under the Law.

Unless something slips.

Put yourself in the Homeowner’s shoes during that video.

He told the BELLIGERENT JERK to leave.

The Belligerent Jerk refused. That’s the moment under Texas Law he went from a person to a trespasser.

The child Read went there to pick up WASN’T THERE & Read knew that at the point Carruth told him to leave.

In Texas when the person who owns the property or works for the people/company that does TELLS YOU TO LEAVE, it’s time for you to leave.

Because read blew Carruth off, this made Carruth angry.

Angy enough to get a rifle & then DEMAND Read leave.

We see Read ratchet up his aggression to 500% at that point.

The firearm was not a deterrent to Read, he wasn’t afraid of Carruth & was convinced he wouldn’t shoot and told Carruth, in essence, “use it or lose it & I’ll shoot you with it!”

This is when he went from trespasser to violent threat.

Carruth’s warning shot was ill advised & might be chargeable but up until the two fatal shots it was READ who was breaking the law, all day long.

That second attempt to disarm Carruth was serious.

Carruth realized from Read’s threats & actions he was just moments away from a THIRD, even more serious disarm attempt from a Threat who’s already shown him he intends to TAKE THE RIFLE from him & then shoot him with it.

So he fired.

People are saying that Carruth & Read’s ex-Wife may have set Read up.

It’s clear there’s a lot bad blood on display here & Carruth’s actions after the shooting do seem weird, i.e. he keeps arguing with Read’s new wife, Jennifer.

No one seems concerned about Chad’s condition at all.

They oddly just keep arguing over what’s now going to be trivia.

Allow me to say this = IF the Carruth’s either set up Read or Kyle Carruth just pushed Chad’s buttons to manipulate him into getting shot….

CHAD READ CHECKED ALL OF THE BOXES NEEDED TO GET JUSTIFIABLY SHOT.

The media is picking up the case for the drama.

Well, if the system works the way it’s supposed to Carruth will be no billed.

I have zero concern about the Carruth’s in this World.

Don’t START nothin’ there won’t BE nuthin!

Maybe the CHAD’S out there should take notice.
